A George I exotic hardwood tea table, circa 1725, possibly Isle of Man, or of Manx influence, 72cm high, 81cm wide, 40cm deep (when closed) Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Various old splits and chips - see images. Filler used to both sides of the top in places. Worm to interior of carcass and drawer linings. Central drawer with losses to the back panel. Left hand drawer with section of replacement timber inset to the back panel. The 'ears' to the tops of the legs are later. Handles are old 18th century replacements.
