A George II mahogany and leather upholstered stool, circa 1740, 46cm high, the top 37 x 37cm Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Leather in distressed condition overall with wear, losses and some tears. Later screws securing board to the underside. Old nail repairs to splits at tops of all legs - see images for details. To the underside in the the gap between the rails and the board some later timber is visible. Some oxidisation to studs at edge of leather. Two studs are lacking.
