Metalware to each appears original, although the bulbous handle to one may possibly be a period replacement. To the same example there is old worm damage, there are old wrom holes visible throughout the drawer front and in some other areas. One castor of the same example has been replaced with a later brown porcelain example. The drawer of each has been later adapted to operate as a normal drawer as is often seen. The tops appear to have been re-polished. There is a split across the top of one (example with bulbous handle) and a small amount of filler used to disguise small loss.
