Y A Regency mahogany chest of drawers, circa 1820, attributed to Gillows, with turned rosewood handles, 151cm high. 119cm wide, 59cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old chips and splits. Of cleaned/polished appearance. Key present and operates all locks except to the lowest three drawers. Upon close inspection it appears a grain filler has been applied. Some sections of veneer re-stuck and sections of replacement veneer to sides of the front. Some small amounts of filler used in places. Handles appear original.
