Y A George IV mahogany and ebony breakfront low clothes press, circa 1825, attributed to Gillows, the central panel doors opening to four sliding trays, 105cm high, 186cm wide, 60cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old splits and chips, including some larger splits to the edges of the top - see images for extent. Handwritten paper label to back for 'F C Reynolds Esq, Sycamore House, Ellesmere, Salop'. Two drilled holes to the centre of the back. Some colour variation/fading to the fronts of the sliding trays. No key present, all locks are open. the rear corners of the top with some splits and small sections of replacement timber. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
