Y A George IV rosewood and crossbanded inverted breakfront open bookcase, circa 1825, 91cm high, 201.5cm wide, 39cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old chips and splits. Some fading. some sections of crossbanding re-stuck. Vacant screw holes to rear edge of top (only visible to the reverse of the bookcase) suggesting bookcase once had a superstructure of gallery. Some additional scuffs and abrasions to shelves.
