A carved oak jardinière table, third quarter 19th century and later, in the manner of Gerard Robinson, 76cm high, the base 110cm wide, 76cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits, chips and losses. It appear that the top is a later associated to the base and is adapted from period elements. One figure with front paw lacking. A sections of the face of the female figure detached but present (some fragmentary losses to adjacent areas). One foliate tail with section of loss and some old glued splits. Glue residue visible to splits to top of of base. Some filler used to join lines at sides of base. Slight movement to top. Top is held in position by two dowels at the tops of the figures.
