A William IV mahogany and upholstered open armchair, circa 1835, almost certainly a desk armchair, 113cm high, 64cm wide, 47cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old splits and chips. Staples and loose threads visible to edges of upholstery. Upholstery with wear and some discolourations. Two old glued splits to rear seat rail. A cap to one rear foot is lacking a screws. One front cap is loose but remains in position, The other front cap with a later screw to help secure. Fabric covering the underside of the seat has been removed. small patches remain nailed to the seat rails. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
