此件以紫檀和云石而制成，亮格柜一般在明代及请早期多见，此件小器大样，亮格的券口一周浅雕拐子龙纹，下接双开柜门，门上方各嵌一块云石板，门下部落堂踩鼓的做法，更显层次感。腿部牙板也浅雕拐子龙纹与亮格券口牙呼应。此件紫檀材质鲜明，小器大样的造型，做工精细讲究，实为放置文玩小品，古籍佛经之地。另外褒奖醇厚，古意盎然，实为难得文房之品。
