A TAUBE MONOPLANE TOY MODEL, c.1912, a rare early 20th century model of the pioneer aircraft, the Etrich Taube (the Dove), as designed by Igo Etrich, and produced by the Rumpler-Luftfahrzeugbau in Germany, of aluminium construction with wire bracing to the wings, with working rudder and tailplane controls wired from levers in the cockpit, on wire-spoke wheels with rubber tyres and with a wooden propeller, 41cm wide 43cm long Condition report: With age-related light oxidation to metal surfaces, bracing wires part detached.
