AN AUSTRIAN PORCELAIN VASE, ACKERMANN & FRITZE,1908-1959 of narrow ovoid form with a tapered neck and narrow base, centered in a cartouche is a mythological scene featuring a woman in a white toga and two men dressed in warrior shields and skirts, all standing in a wooded scene, against a maroon ground with a gold foliate and floral continuous motif, marked with maker's mark underbase in blue underglaze; overall height 53 cm (20 7/8 in.) CONDITION In age-appropriate condition. Minor blooming resulting in a dusty appearance. Inspection under UV shows retouching to the lower left of the woman's toga. Otherwise no more issues to report.
