A BRITISH SILVER SERVING TRAY, 19TH CENTURY of oblong oval form, with raised edges with curved handles with a foliate motif and crest centered featuring a shield, flanked by foliate scrolls, marked V 12 verso centered, partly effaced duty mark and 750, verso under rim; dimensions: 35.56 x 56 cm (14 x 22 in.); total weight: 1.2 kg (38.6 ozt) CONDITION Appears in age-appropriate condition. Overall tarnish and darkening, most notably between the rim crevasses and handles, discoloration to one of the handles. Dark spotting visible to the naked eye. Minor surface scuffs and scratches, would benefit from a polish. N.B. All lots are sold in as-is condition at the time of sale.
