此炉铜质精良，原生态皮壳，宝光内蕴，方圆有致，俩侧有狮耳，衔环。工艺妙绝，鬃毛卷曲，层次丰富，大鼻圆目，有皇家威严。底部落款“大明宣德年制”，下承三足，一足在前，两足在后，是如法的放置；常以之譬喻佛教中的三宝，缺一不可。
