A small group of Japanese lacquer, to include a large a lacquer lidded box, decorated with ducks with inlaid eyes amongst reeds and Iris, an five-tier Inro, decorated with a drum with inlaid mother of pearl and takamaki-e lacquer, and a maki-e and mother of pearl inlaid rectangular box, largest item 2 x 34 x 16cm (3) Losses to the inlay and lacquer on the Inro, with surface wear present in areas. The large lacquer box with some small areas of damage to the underside, particularly near the corners, and the interior, with surface wear and small splits to the lacquer throughout. The smaller box with glued repairs and cracking to the lacquer, with surface wear present.
