Two Japanese bronze vases, Meiji period, one of baluster form with scalloped lip, body decorated with moulded scene of sparrows and hawk amongst blossom, dragon to neck and ho-o bird to bulbous base, 37cm high; the other of double bulbous form with trumpet neck, cast with scenes of flora and fauna, with applied blossom branch handles, and applied three clawed dragon footing, 25cm high (2) Some old dents and scuffs throughout. The vase on the right with a few small old losses to the extremities, with a dent to the base. General surface wear and discolouration throughout.
