An Impressive German Tapestry Upholstered Carved Settee Late 19th century The egg and dart top over frieze intricately carved to show a 17th-century wedding with a nobleman and lady stood in a castle courtyard with numerous attendants and flag bearers etc., above an upholstered back incorporating an earlier tapestry panel, carved arms with mask-form grips, velvet seat, raised on turned legs united by stretchers and with carved openwork cartouche panels.
