A gold-lacquer and metal-inlaid five-case inro By Koma Kansai and after Hamano Noriyuki, 19th century The vertical rectangular body inlaid with Jurojin and a deer with a boy attendant, the reverse with a crane flying over a running boy, decorated in high relief of gold, silver, copper, shakudo and shibuichi on a fundame ground with clouds of nashiji, takamaki-e and kirikane, the interior of nashiji; signed Kansai with a red kao and Noriyuki saku. 8.5cm (3 3/8in) high.
