此清供摆件取一段奇木虬枝随形而成，曲折盘绕，高低起伏，底部枝干截平，使整体能够平稳承放，即富动感且不失重心。整体造型放逸而生奇，抑右而扬左，望之若欹，似腾蛇赴穴，乍正乍斜，如虬怒龙蟠，或往或还，所谓“偶然一龙夜蜕骨，化为千岁虬枝松”。曲折灵动的根枝，盘结多变，回环扣合，如颠张醉素笔下的草书线条，其错落之中，尽显动静、正斜、刚柔、虚实之美。底部根枝之间包裹一块山石，为一种木石共生的奇特现象，木与石结合紧密，相互交融，佳趣天成，似有木石前盟，宛若神仙造化，意味无穷。
