此水陆观音菩萨坐像跏趺盘足坐于莲花宝座上，宝座下为多层须弥座，画像以对称的层叠状云气为背景，菩萨身后是葫芦形的背光和头光，顶部有佛教八吉祥之一的华盖。所绘观音面容圆润，肌肤着粉白色，法相庄严，发髻高束，带花冠，胸前饰缨络，左手持经卷，身披袈裟，衣带飘逸自然，以严谨的工笔描绘，线条婉转自如，着色清雅，渲染自然，极见功力，是不可多得的上佳之作。
