A Continental citrine, pearl and diamond pendant, c.1880, with an oval Brazilian cut citrine, claw set in a landscape position. An articulated trellis suspended below with graduated pearls, untested, suspended in pairs, and flower heads set with rose cut diamonds. An arched top set with graduated rose cut diamonds to a 'V' shaped bale and suspended on a curb chain. Pendant tested as approximately 14ct gold, chain as approximately 9ct gold. 67 x 31mm, 21.01g, 1.23g Condition report: Pearl drop deficient to the centre of the trellis. Rose cut diamond deficient top right of arch. Soft solder repairs to the reverse. A poor gold solder repair to the back of the arch. Bolt ring rolled gold.
