A Victorian gold split pearl oval starburst brooch/pendant, c.1900, with two stepped oval bosses to the centre, grain set with graduated split pearls. Radiating blade edge bars, each culminating in a rub set split pearl, between star points, set with graduated split pearls to a concealed hook and detachable brooch fitting, bale deficient. Tested as approximately 9ct gold. 40 x 33mm approximately, 13.74g Condition report: Original 'C' catch. Bale deficient. Tarnished.
