The finest porcelain potted in a Zun shaped vase, thick and large, globular body, heavy on lower belly, slighty oval body, rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent straight cylindrical neck, with wide straight close lip, emerging two archaic ruyi created majestic handles and flanked on the shoulder, raised with short splayed foot base rim and slightly concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in grayish under glazed base color which contrast against the Ge design. Distinctive GE crackled glaze also known as jinsitiexian which translates to mean gold floss and iron thread which details the look of several lines that appear in the crackled surface. Grayish white stoneware glaze with an intentionally closely crackled glaze, Copied ever after and particularly popular in the early 20th century, then often in combination with brown unglazed molded or incised borders or applications.
