|此剔红多宝格规格巨大，工艺繁复，装饰华丽，极其耗费人力物力。内壁及外底松黑漆，其余均为剔红装饰。正面观之，格面高低错落，大小孔洞穿插有序，富于变化。顶层之下界出高低错落，设开敞的格子，并镶装花叶纹牙板，格下为柜，中立闩柱，对开门，安铜合叶；外壁琢各式锦地纹，抽屉与柜门外侧雕有对弈、访友等。整器颜色为暗红，做工精细。应为清宫旧藏。
