A 19th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty finely carved boxwood / huangyang or fruitwood figurine of an Emaciated Lohan Buddha. The carved figure having bald head, detailed features and well defined ribcage and spine with tattered cloth around his legs. Originally having glass inset eyes and bone teeth however only one eye is present. Split to base, chip to back and hand. Signed to base. Measures approx; 15cm tall.
