A large 18th Century George III mahogany bureau bookcase having a twin door astragal glazed bookcase cabinet with flared cornice atop. Below a full appointed front bureau section with a series of drawers and cupboards with hidden bookend compartments with each having gilt tooled leather spines for the 'Irish & English Plunkett I & II'. Below a further bank of four graduating drawers with each having brass swing handles. All raised on bracket feet supports. Measures approx; 220cm x 115cm x 61cm. Slight split to the full front with age related wear, overall a good example.
