A GEORGE IV MAHOGANY COLLECTOR'S CABINET CIRCA 1825 The glazed doors opening to eight sliding trays, together with a collection of sea shells 59cm high, 57cm wide, 37cm deep Provenance: By repute from Hoar Cross Hall, Staffordshire and by descent to the current owner Condition Report: The cabinet has marks, scratches, chips, knocks and abrasions consistent with age and use. The doors have small holes indicating a previous handle/catch. The sliding trays are mahogany lined. With one key; splits to the backboards.
