Liang Kai, born in 1150, his father Liang Duan, grandfather Liang Yangzu, and great-grandfather Liang Zimei were all ministers of the Song Dynasty. Born in Dongping Xucheng (now Dongping, Shandong), he was a painter in the Southern Song Dynasty. After the southern crossing, he lived in Qiantang (now Hangzhou, Zhejiang). He is a famous calligrapher and painter in China and Japan. He is a very peculiar painter, good at painting landscapes, Buddhism, ghosts and gods. He likes to drink, and his behavior after drinking is informal. He is known as "Liang Feng (crazy)".
