Covered overall with a rich dark aubergine glaze. Provenance: Collection of Henri Delattre (ancient label to base). Henri Delattre was a notable collector of ceramics who lived around the turn of the 19th to the 20th century in Lieges, Belgium, and donated a part of his collection to the Victoria and Albert Museum (for example accession numbers C.499-1919, C.500-1919, and C.501-1919).
