THREE IMPERIAL YELLOW-GROUND KESI UNCUT FACINGS FOR A DRAGON ROBE 19th century Comprising rectangular Imperial yellow-ground silk panels with a collar, pair of horseshoe-shaped cuffs and a lapel facing, all finely woven in kesi weave with delicate designs of five-clawed writhing dragons pursuing flaming pearls above rolling waves, five-coloured clouds, flames and bats, all on a midnight-blue ground, and an original Imperial yellow silk-covered paper mount.
