(1892 - 1969). a group of three letters, of which two are to Edith Sitwell, and one is to Osbert Sitwell, 1959. comprises: the first letter - a typescript, signed letter from Osbert to Edith Sitwell, 1pp. 13 lines, addressed to Edith at the Sesame Club, London, on printed headed paper from The St. Regis, Fifth Avenue and Fifty Fifth Street, New York, dated April 28, 1959, 'Darling Edith . . . I have enclosed a rather sinister letter from Art News which I send to you. I have written to say that I am too unwell to give long interviews. I miss you very much . . . I think the treatment here is doing me good. Your loving brother', signed by Osbert in black ink, 'Osbert Mr'; the second letter - Osbert's enclosed 'sinister' letter to Edith from Parker Tyler of Art News, TLS., 1pp., 20 lines, typed on Art News headed paper, East Fifty Seventh Street, New York, and signed by Parker Tyler, dated April 24th, 1959, 'It is with great happiness that I am able to say a grant has been bestowed on me making it possible to devote myself to writing a definitive biography of Pavel Tchelitchew . . .
