A copper-alloy zoomorphic pommel formed as a bird of prey, likely an eagle, standing with neck and beak arched as though looming over a prey item, wings held closed, detailing to feathers, tail and talons; hollow-formed. 11.6 grams, 39mm (1 1/2"). From a central London collection; previously in a European collection formed 1979-1989. [No Reserve] Condition Report Fine condition.
