赏析：古时不光有用于祭祀和文房雅玩的铜炉，还有一类纤巧秀逸的铜炉，专用于大家闺秀们熏衣香肤、避秽驱邪、拜神祭月。天鸡是古代传说中的神鸟，《古小说钩沉》记载：“东南有桃都山，上有大树，名叫桃都，枝相去三千里，上有天鸡，日初出，光照此木，天鸡则鸣，群鸡皆随之鸣。”采用天鸡造型是取其神威以保平安之意。这尊天鸡耳云板足法盏炉就是典型的文人用炉，体型精致，压手沉重。器型敞口，微呈喇叭状，深腹平底，底设三蹄足，端庄沈稳，精致细腻，作如意云纹态。炉身内膛烧结匀净，外壁光滑平整，两侧炉耳高起，炉壁两端铸天鸡首，天鸡鬃毛卷曲，俯首向下，造型别致，饶有气势，刻画得精妙传神。炉款“大明宣德年制”，书法方正质朴，小中见大，铜质精纯细腻，虽数百年沧桑之下，也难掩其光华。
