|说明：此件明代的竹根雕金蟾摆件，形制奇巧，盈手可握。突睛阔口，鼓腹蹲坐，肌肉精炼有力，挺其躯而拽一足，前腿掖于腹下，目视下方，似有草丛飞动，正欲捕之。刻者藉点点斑痕及竹根纹理以状背股之癞疣，不必多施刀凿已形象逼真，腹部则以竹理纹路，表现蟾蜍腹部糯透的质感，尽得天然之趣。蟾背攀附三只小蟾，姿态各异，生动有趣。|整器包浆熟旧陈润，呈栗壳色泽，制作考究，圆雕、高浮雕法度自然，将蟾蜍憨态可掬，静中有动之态表现的淋漓尽致，栩栩如生。蟾蜍因为多子而象征子孙繁盛，寓意美好。||备注：原配檀香木底座。||参阅：博美拍卖，2016年7月16日，编号0605，“清·竹根雕金蟾摆件”，成交价人民币632，500。
