此炉为乳足冲耳式，造型硕大，炉身整体作平口鬲式，口沿外侈，两端起冲天耳，宽厚有力，扁鼓腹，下承三乳足，饱满有力，稳如泰山。香炉腹部前后开光，起鱼子纹地，其上浅浮雕阿拉伯文纹饰。明代伊斯兰教颇受重视，因此阿拉伯文装饰甚为流行，出现在各类器物上，且文字内容一般多出自于可兰经，含义多为赞美真主，祈福吉祥。整体造型规整端正，铸造工艺精良，通体古栗之色，包浆醇厚，实为明香炉器具中的典范之作。
