熏炉采用精铜铸造，形制规整，铸熔饱满。盖面微隆，中央置一莲蓬盖钮，其上镂雕云蝠纹作出烟口，效果奇佳。炉身为鼓式，弧腹深峻，双耳及三足皆象鼻为题材，象鼻向内弯曲，与整体协调有致，承“太平有象”之吉意，美感十足。腹外壁开窗，其内鱼籽纹锦地，阴刻麒麟献瑞纹，麒麟脚踏祥云，气宇轩昂，刻画细腻，布局严谨，鎏金装饰，精妙绝伦。整器铜质缜密，入手沉坠，扣之声脆，余音缭绕，不绝于耳，蜡茶色皮，润泽古意，为文房雅室陈设赏玩之佳器。
