来源：1.欧洲比利时北部弗拉芒地区私人旧藏，入藏于1990年以前2.原德国纳高拍卖拍品。宝鼠或称宝鼬，是财神的持物。鼠作为财神的配件起源很早，《大唐西域记》卷十二中就有“鼠壤坟传说”；在《宋高僧传》中也记载了唐代密教大师不空作法解吐蕃兵围西凉，其中有金鼠潜入敌营咬断弓弦的故事，成了能为人所用的神鼠。藏传佛教吸收宝鼬成为财神的辅助，不管是哪一尊财神都会左手抱着宝鼬，并且靠宝鼬不断吐出宝珠来聚财。本件作品身饰沙地绶带团寿纹，有献寿之意，周身纹饰具有汉藏艺术特征。
