Description

在紫檀文房件中笔筒是常见种类，多以素者为多，或有圈口起阳线、或束腰等简单工艺，周身或有雕刻者则为上品。此件笔筒用料精良，紫檀木色黝黑如漆，纹丝质理细若牛毛，皮壳包浆浓厚、煞是喜人。外壁通体浅浮雕繁密的灵芝纹，雕工繁密，层次感明显，灵芝花叶卷曲柔婉，连绵不绝，且每朵灵芝都体现出透空与错落，体现出层次与立体感，其工艺圆润厚重，颇有明代永宣时代漆器的风格。此作运刀精确细密，磨砻圆熟光洁，不露刀锋棱角，为北派木雕之精品，应为内务府造办处高手所制。
