Two Chinese Longquan celadon double fish washers dating from the Song dynasty. Both washers feature low relief carvings of two fish in their basins, and both have lobed exteriors. Dimensions are: 1 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/4 inches in diameter, 3.8 cm X 13.3 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One washer has three large cracks, two to the rim and one to the bottom. It also has a repaired and overpainted chip to the basin. The other washer has one small crack to the rim, one small chip to the exterior, and chipping to the foot.
