A Chinese Longquan celadon pierced vase dating from the Yuan dynasty. The teardrop-shaped vase features an outer pattern of lotus tracery framing an inner yuhuchun vase. The inner vase has no pattern or decoration aside from its glaze. Dimensions are: 7 inches tall X 5 3/4 inches in diameter, 17.8 cm X 14.6 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are several chips and cracks to the outer pattern. There is a hairline to the neck, and the rim has been ground down. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is. We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece after its initial manufacture as diligently as possible; however, as stated in our terms, condition reports are statements of opinion and not representations or warranties. Oakridge Auction Gallery bears no responsibility for any error or omission. Provenance: From Mr. Ketcherside in Arkansas. Purchased from a storage unit.
