For a small ge-type brush washer of the Yuan or early Ming dynasty displaying the matrix of darker 'iron-wire' crackle with 'golden' threads so beloved of this ware, and beautifully re-created in our later Qing example, see Sotheby's, 4 November 2020, lot 183.
