A putto representing a cupid is also called an amorino (plural amorini) or amoretto (plural amoretti). For other examples of Cupid of the same period see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art; accession number: 19.192.54. Size: L:107mm / W:42mm; 188.7g Provenance: Private London collection (B.A.); formerly acquired in the 1970s from John Lees collection.
