Translation provided by Youdao
Circa 3rd Century AD This glass pitcher has an ovoid blown body on a circular, slightly concave base. The elaborate handle features not one but three thumb rests. The short neck is cylindrical and flares towards the splayed circular rim. The excellent state of preservation makes this elegant jug an extraordinary work of the late Roman glass industry. Size: L:98mm / W:70mm; 29.75g Provenance: Private UK collection; From an old London collection formed in the 1990s.
