Circa 100-300 AD A gold ring with double oval bezel, the raise angular shoulders tapering into a band. The intaglio convex oval carnelian gem engraved with a deity with hands outstretched, on the reverse a green stone with a bowl with cockerel and ears of wheat. Ring possibly later. Size: D: 18.61mm / US: 8 5/8 / UK: R; 3.71g Provenance: Property of a London Ancient Art Gallery; formerly in the famous Alison Barker collection, a retired London barrister; acquired between early 1960s to 1990s.
