Circa 200-300 AD A pendant in the form of a tear formed of a carnelian body which tangles a gold element attached to a faience bead. The head of the pendant with a gold hat which connects the piece to a loop and gold necklace. Necklace of a later period. Size: L:23.4mm / W:11mm; 1.5g Provenance: Property of a London Ancient Art Gallery; formerly in the famous Alison Barker collection, a retired London barrister; acquired between early 1960s to 1990s.
