Circa 100-200 AD A pendant formed of thin hammer sheet gold in the style of wings of a fly, the inside of body has been elegantly portrayed with an encircling border throghout. A centre section incised to capture the stylised features of a fly. Size: L:22.5mm / W:20.3mm; 1g Provenance: Property of a London Ancient Art Gallery; formerly in the famous Alison Barker collection, a retired London barrister; acquired between early 1960s to 1990s.
