Cyprus, Middle Bronze Age Ca. 1800-1600 BC A lovely pottery dipper cup with a bulbous body tapering to a roundish bottom. Narrowed neck leading to an everted rim. A high strap handle connects the shoulder with the mouth. The exterior of the vessel is embellished with brown-painted lattice decoration. Size: L:85mm / W:100mm ; 110g Provenance: Property of a London gallery; formely in High Wycombe Estate collection; Ex. Private collectio, New York, USA; acquired in Sotheby's New York (PB84) in the 1970's-1980's.
