AN ARCHAISTIC BRONZE TEMPLE BELL AND VESSEL SUSPENDED IN HARDWOOD FRAMES AND STANDS, QINGChina, Qing dynasty (1644-1912). The temple bell and you vessel are decorated with key fret patterns, taotie motifs, and other archaistic designs, each suspended in a hardwood frame and stand skillfully executed in openwork with a Shòu character (Chinese for “longevity”) on top.
