A 'CHERRY BLOSSOMS' BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER WITH MATCHING STAND, QING DYNASTYChina, 1644-1912. Of compressed globular form, supported on three slender curved feet, with two opposing handles on the rim cast as branches with a pair of cherry blossoms on either side, the cover and stand similarly cast in openwork. The base impressed with an apocryphal Xuande mark within a recessed square.Condition: With minor wear, casting flaws, few small nicks and minor wrapping to rim.
