A ROCK CRYSTAL STUPA WITH GOLD APPLICATIONSHimalayan region, Tibet or Nepal, c. 19th century or earlier. Made in two parts, consisting of a quadrangular base and a tiered finial. Applied with fine gold repousse bands and gold wire.Condition: Overall good condition with wear as well as few notches and chips here and there. The mineral with natural inclusions.Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik Istvan Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
