AN INDIAN COLONIAL SILVER BALUSTER CUP AND COVERHAMILTON & CO., CIRCA 1820With an acorn finial to the foliate chased domed cover, a leaf capped double scroll handle, chased with three foliate bands, engraved 'To Captain Mounsey for his allenlion during the voyage from England 1820', on a circular pedestal foot21cm (8 1/4in) 907g (29.2 oz) Captain Mounsey had a distinguished naval career. He joined the navy at the tender age of 13 in February 1780.
